Why Choose Clear Aligner Braces?

Deciding to transform your smile is a big step. The next step is deciding how to do it. Clear Aligner treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.

  • Low Visibility –Clear aligners are clear, which means they are virtually invisible when placed over the top of your teeth.
  • Healthy teeth and gums – as the aligners are not attached to your teeth they allow for normal brushing and flossing, meaning it’s easier to maintain oral health during treatment
  • Comfortable – no metal brackets or wires to irritate your gum or the inside of your mouth.
  • Removable – wearing clear aligners won’t affect your lifestyle, aligners can be removed for meals and special occasions.
  • Aligners achieve great result for a large amount of patients and more often than not, straightens teeth as fast as traditional fixed braces.

What happens during Clear Aligner Treatment?

Aligner treatment starts with a consultation with your dentist.

  • Step 1 – Your dentist will then evaluate your smile and then map out a precise, customised digital treatment plan that showcases the step-by-step transformation of your smile.
  • Step 2 – Once you approve your plan, your unique aligners will be created by taking 3-D digital impressions of your teeth using an oral scanner. It’s quicker, more pleasant and more accurate than the traditional method using paste.
  • Step 3 – You will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set of aligners every 1 to 2 weeks, as directed by your dentist. Each set of aligners will gently shift your teeth into place, according to your treatment plan, until your beautiful new smile is achieved.

Why Choose Fixed Aesthetic Braces?

We offer a variety of fixed ‘aesthetic’ or tooth coloured braces, which are: QuickStraightTeeth™, Six Month Smiles and Fast Braces orthodontic systems. They all use low-visibility braces which are fixed to your teeth, to gently straighten your teeth, and give you that smile you’ve always dreamed of in a relatively short time.

Fixed aesthetic braces are tooth-coloured and are nearly invisible in the mouth, so you can get straight teeth without the ‘mouth full of metal’ look.
  • Quality
You will be pleasantly surprised by fixed tooth coloured braces. They look beautiful and discreet with top quality tooth-coloured brackets and wires, making them virtually invisible.
  • Time
Getting straight teeth, and a beautiful smile is fast! Treatments take anywhere between 4 and 24 weeks depending on complexity.
  • Comfort

Treatable Cases

Crowded teeth

Crowded teeth

This occurs when there is not enough room in the upper and lower jaws to fit all your growing teeth, which can then become misaligned or crooked. It’s hard to effectively clean misaligned teeth so problems of gum disease and tooth decay are more common with crowded teeth.

Overbite

Overbite

This happens when the upper jaw abnormally overlap the lower jaw. An overbite can cause wearing of teeth on lower jaw and joint problems.

Underbite

Underbite

Insufficient growth of the upper jaw or missing upper teeth can cause the lower jaw to protrude and give rise to an underbite. This hinders the normal functioning of the front teeth and can cause jaw pain.

Crossbite

Crossbite

When one or more teeth from the upper jaw, bite on the interior of the lower set of teeth, it’s referred to as a crossbite. This happens when both upper and lower jaws are misaligned. It can cause your teeth to chip and wear down.

Gapped teeth

Gapped teeth

Gaps in between teeth can occur due to abnormal jawbone growth or when, due to lack of teeth, neighbouring teeth shift from their respective positions into the extra space. Gapped teeth can give rise to gum problems and periodontal disease.

Open bite

Open bite

An open bite occurs when some teeth on the upper and lower jaws are unable to meet each other. Genetics, poor chewing habits and excessive sucking on thumbs can cause an open bite.
