Denise started her dental career as Dental Nurse, and later went on to graduate as a dentist from Cardiff University in 2009. Denise has worked in many practices around the UK but particularly enjoyed her time working in hospital, within the maxillofacial team in Northampton General as a house doctor.

Denise loves to learn and enhance her skills and knowledge to keep up to date with the current techniques and treatments. Since leaving university she has developed particular interests in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry.

In 2016, Denise took the huge step and became the owner of Sweet Tooth Dental Care and has found the experience an exciting challenge and she has really enjoyed building new, long-term relationships with her patients and having a good old natter!

Outside of work Denise loves to travel, seeing new places and experiencing new cultures, listening to audiobooks and spending quality time with family and friends.

Pinar is a registered dental hygienist and graduated from Cardiff University in 2018. Pinar loves treating a variety of patients, and making adjustments to their oral hygiene routines to improve their overall health.

Pinar likes to see the difference she has made in patients’ smiles and confidence after her treatment and motivates them to maintain this for life.

Pinar loves travelling to places near the sea, watching films and reading fiction books. She admits to not being the greatest chef, but could easily eat her favourite meal of chilli bean tacos, everyday! She also has a grumpy cat called Niva who she adores.

Sejal loves helping people. This took her to embarking on a Dental Nursing course. After completing her exams and working as a Dental Nurse for 4 years, Sejal decided she wanted to further her career in Dental Hygiene.

‘As a Dental Nurse I came across many patients who did not know the importance of prevention in dentistry and I thought this would be an ideal area of dentistry for me to get in to as I would be at the forefront of treating patients and helping them get to their optimal dental health.’

Sejal qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the esteemed Eastman Dental Hospital in 2012 and was awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons.

She has worked at Sweet Tooth Dental Care since 2014, providing oral health care and advice to patients, and is incredibly passionate about the importance that dental hygiene plays in preventing and treating periodontal disease.

Sejal ensures that each appointment is tailored to suit the patient’s needs and is often told by her nervous patients that seeing her over the many years has helped put them at ease, which makes Sejal’s job even more rewarding.

Outside of work Sejal is soon to be a mum of two, she loves spending time with her family including her young daughter who really keeps her on her toes. Sejal loves exploring different cuisines & trying new recipes out on her family and relaxes by doing mindful colouring and meditation. She also keeps up to date with all the latest dental treatments and research by participating in educational courses and events.

Gabrielle is an enthusiastic and hard-working dental nurse that has a passion for all cosmetic and smile improving treatments and processes. For the past 2 ½ years Gabrielle has been honing her craft as a dental nurse and team coordinator.

You will often find Gabrielle on reception on Fridays, ready to help you with any questions you may have.

Prior to her career in dentistry, Gabrielle was a personal assistant and business administrator for multiple teams, and has a huge passion for marketing.

Gabrielle ensures she is always abreast of all the cutting edge techniques and the latest cosmetic treatments available. Her favourite treatments to nurse for include whitening and teeth realignment as she says ‘there is nothing better than making a person smile’.

In Gabrielle’s spare time, she loves to travel the world and is incredibly adventurous.

Marlena is presently training to become a qualified dental nurse. She loves dental nursing and also being on reception. She likes spending time with patients and welcoming them to the practice.

Outside of work, Marlena loves to bake; her favourite thing to bake is her famous banana bread. She also enjoys sewing blankets and altering clothes and also draws.

Michelle is our part-time Receptionist working with us on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Michelle has been with the practice since 2007 and she loves talking to patients and taking care of all their appointments and looking after them through their patient journey.

Michelle has numerous qualifications under her belt, but her passion is feet! She is a qualified foot health practitioner, nail technician and originally trained as a staff nurse.

Michelle keeps busy outside of work with her own business, her family, and is about to become a grandmother for the first time. Michelle loves reading until her heart is content on her Kindle.
